This combination class will use stoneware clay, a high-fired non-porous clay durable for all kinds of uses, to create decorative, functional or sculptural pieces.

Raku I

Raku I

Fridays September 2, 9, 16, 6 to 9 pm; Firing: Saturday 24, 10 am to 4 pm

In this four session workshop, students will learn hand-building techniques, Raku glaze application, and the method of Raku firing. This method  is so immediate that you will be able to take your creation home at the end of the session.
