We are changing the way we register for drop in classes. This new system will take effect on September 2, 2015
How to register for drop in classes?
1) When you arrive at the museum please proceed directly to the Front Desk to pick up a number. Numbers are available for pick up 45 minutes ahead of ticket sale times: 4:45 pm on Wednesdays and Fridays, and 11:45 am on Sundays. You will received one numbered ticket per person present. Numbers will continue to be handed out until there are none left.
2) Once you have your number, you can leave the museum and come back at 5:30 pm (Wednesdays and Fridays) or 12:30 pm (Sundays). You can also look around the Museum or Shop.
3) Please return promptly at ticket selling time: 5:30 pm (Wednesdays and Fridays) or 12:30 pm (Sundays). Numbers will then be called out in order. Please return the number when you buy your ticket. If you are not present when your number is called, you risk losing your space in line.
Why are we doing this?
a) Attendance has been increasing weekly in these classes and we want to be fair to all of the participants We would like to maintain the first-come first-served environment.
b) You will no longer have to stand around in line for a long period of time saving your spot in line. You can take this time to look around the Museum and enjoy our collections.
c) You won’t have to wait around for a long period of time only to be told we have sold out. You will know immediately when you come to get your number.
