CONTEMPORARY

Explore the contemporary gallery and view works by Picasso and Chagall as well as many Canadian and International ceramists. In this full day program students are introduced to 20th-century artists through an audio-visual presentation. They are then led on a gallery tour and have the opportunity to do some sketching. The students then proceed to our studios to work in clay under the supervision of a professional ceramic artist. The full day program is recommended for grades 6 through 8 but can be adapted for other grade levels, and students of art history.
