Winter 2016 March Break Kids Camp, Ages 7 - 14

Monday March 14 to Friday March 18, 9:30 am - 12 pm

This week-long camp is open to kids ages 7-14 with all levels of experience. They will create crazy creatures and learn how to sculpt functional ceramic pieces as well as how to decorate using glazes.

Winter 2016 March Break Kids Wheel Camp, Ages 10 - 16

Monday March 14 to Friday March 18, 1 - 3:30 pm

Wheel throwing classes teach the participant to center, open and pull up the walls to create bowls, vases, goblets, as well as glazing application techniques. The focus is the wheel, but students will also learn hand building and surface decoration styles.

After School Kids Class

From fantastical creatures to decorative treasure chests, kids can make fun, funky, and functional creations in this after school workshop. They’ll have fun learning a variety of hand-building techniques and throwing on a potter’s wheel.

Combo and Slip Casting Class

Mondays, April 4 to June 6, 6 - 9 pm

This course is an introduction to various clay hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques. Students will also explore slip casting, press molding, and new glazing techniques using earthenware clay.
