DRAGONS AND FANTASTIC BEASTS

Search for dragons, lions and fantastic beasts on our Chinese, Japanese, and European porcelain objects. Students will learn about East Asian culture and investigate its contributions to world culture and trade routes.

This program is available as a half day or full day program. Each student will make an imaginative dragon in a clay workshop conducted by professional ceramic artist. Take your dragon back to school with you or leave it at the Museum to be fired in our kiln for later pick-up.

The half day program is recommended for grades 2 and up. Please note that the full-day program is only recommended for students in grade 4 or above.
