Clay Classes - Spring 2010
The Gardiner Museum's clay classes offer creative fun for young adults and adults. Participants at all levels of experience--including absolute beginners--will learn the techniques of creating ceramic art by forming and decorating their own hands-on projects in clay.
Instructors are all professional ceramic artists with years of experience helping participants achieve their goals. Sessions are informal, with time for experimentation as well as a focus on technique.
Classes are offered for all age groups:
Combo Classes in March/April 2009 (3 weeks)
Hand-Building and Wheel-Throwing
Try your hand at a variety of techniques. Use the potter’s wheel and explore
the tools and techniques for hand building. Combine both approaches and
decorate your work with glazes and textures.
