Inventive, artistic, skillful, ambitious and hugely successful, Minton was the greatest British potter of the Victorian era. The company  pioneered styles, materials and techniques in all areas of ceramic production, and its adventurous approach to art, design and manufacture helped to define Victorian taste. Dr. Paul Atterbury, one time curator of the Minton Museum, and a passionate enthusiast for the Victorian world, celebrates the achievements of this remarkable pottery.
