Toronto is a modern city, but its self-image is stuck somewhere between Queen Victoria and King Edward. Though the buildings and homes built during their reigns are nice, they don't reflect how many if not most Torontonians live today. The changing face of Toronto's modernism is acknowledging that buildings built since the war are our face.
