Gallery Prelude and Salon 21

Join us for this new offering before each installment of  Soundstreams’ Salon 21. Gallery Preludes are bespoke events that bring music and ceramics together for a completely unique experience – one part concert, one part gallery tour.  Register in advance, or enjoy the event free with half price Friday admission to the Museum.

Presented by Soundstreams, in partnership with the Gardiner Museum, Salon 21 is a performance and lecture series featuring and showcasing the work of contemporary Canadian and international composers. Salon 21 takes place every third Friday of the month, and is free with advance online registration.

Art from the past helps us understand the society from which it came. Join us for an anthropological exploration of old Europe through a guided visit to the Gardiner's recently transformed European Porcelain Gallery. Then take in a performance of new work by composer Emilie Lebel, created in collaboration with Jumblies Theatre, a hub for community-driven creativity.
