Hands wrapped around a ball of clay

Centering with Clay

Tue Apr 18 to May 09, 2023 6:30PM - 8:30PM

In this 4-week course, participants will explore a series of hand-building exercises rooted in the connection between clay and breath. Moving with the malleability of clay, students will learn how to breathe slower, relaxing into the core of the body and focusing on the present moment.

The emphasis will be on the process of working with clay. At the end of each workshop, the clay will be returned to its original form, letting go of what was created, ready to begin anew.

This workshop welcomes participants of all experience levels.

Dates: April 18, 25, May 2, May 9
