The Gardiner Museum is among the few museums in the world focused on ceramics, and is one of the most important specialty museums internationally. It houses approximately 4,000 objects, including European porcelain, ceramics from the Ancient Americas, Chinese porcelain, Japanese porcelain, and contemporary ceramics. Summer classes will be available for online registration starting Wednesday May 1 at 9 am. Please note that these classes are uploaded manually so it may take several minutes before the entire schedule is posted. We do not release the schedule in advance of registration.
There will be NO in person registration on May 1. If you arrive in person you will be instructed to register online. Regular in-person registration hours (10 am – 5 pm) will resume on May 2.
Phone registration will be available at 416.408.5055 starting 9 am on May 1, but please be aware that response times are expected to be longer than usual. Voicemails will be answered in the order that they are received. We highly recommend online registration whenever possible.
New Gardiner Friends: Memberships must be purchased online as a separate transaction prior to purchasing your class in order for your discount to take immediate effect.
Existing Gardiner Friends: If you purchased your membership online, your account was automatically created for you using the information you provided at that time. If you purchased in person or over the phone, you will need to link your membership following the steps below in order to receive your discount. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you cannot link your membership. All prior membership glitches have now been resolved.

2. Click “Create Account”
3. Fill out the form and click “Yes” for “Are you already a Gardiner Friend?”
4. Click “Create Online Account”
5. Enter your membership number and postal code in the following format X#X #X# (Please include the space in your postal code)
6. Click “Create Account”
7. At this point you should be logged in and should be able to see your membership details by clicking “MY ACCOUNT” located at the top of any page.
8. You can renew your membership here.
If you make your purchase and were unable to apply your membership discount, include that in the “Order Notes” field upon registration or send an email to email@example.com. Please do not wait until you arrive for class to let us know that you did not receive your discount.
