Annie McDonald: Littles in Tall Blue and Black

Annie strives to imbue meaning at each stage of the process. She starts with a general concept, before printing on the clay with home-made slips, inks, and/or underglazes, then incorporates those components into the work. As a result, her vessels are expressive in colour, shape and form.  Handcrafted each piece will slightly vary in colour, pattern, size and weight.

Care & Use: Pieces are sculptural and intended for display. The vessels may be used in non-food contexts, however if you are placing flowers in water, please put in a separate container before placing them in the piece. They may be cleaned with a damp cloth.

Material: Earthenware, slips and glazes
