About The Artist

Barbara Banfield

After twenty years designing and manufacturing in the garment industry, while raising three children, clay became an active hobby for Barbara Banfield over a 10-year period. She took countless hours of lessons, participated in student shows and sales, and spent many summers enrolled at the Haliburton School for the Arts. This passion of working with clay took her to Sheridan College, where she graduated with honors in 2010. Since this time, she has continued the path of building a studio, making objects and selling her work.  Including founding the FUSION Creative Directions Program.
