Jane Wilson: Vase (Each sold separately)

Description

Jane plays with form and surface in her newest line of works. She uses the Mishima technique which involves carving into the clay with a very sharp tool and inlaying a coloured material into the carved areas. The excess is then scraped off and one is left with fine lines. After this ‘drawing’ is revealed, a variety of materials are used to build the surface. Made by hand each will slightly vary in colour, pattern, size and weight. A style/colour available will be chosen if not specified.

Care & Use: Wash pieces by hand and do not use in the dishwasher. The pieces are fired to a high temperature and are functional.
