Natalie Waddell: Sculpture titled Progression

Natalie’s love of clay comes from the infinite possibilities and challenges it brings.  Continuing her work as an artist, the progression sculpture explores dimension, surface and technique.  Each link is built and woven as to not separate.  As a result, you may pile it up or spread it out, inviting the user to play.  Made with clay that is unglazed, each link will slightly vary in colour, pattern, size and weight.  Retail Feature: Toronto Potters Biennial Exhibition titled FLUX Progression was juried by Denis Longchamps (Executive Director and Chief Curator of The Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery) and Susan Low-Beer (Award Winning Ceramic Artist).
