Shu-Chen’s diary is her work in clay. The horse hair raku is created by removing each piece from the raku kiln at the exact temperature, then applying horsehair on each piece. The result is the exciting carbonized horsehair pattern. Decorative only, they are not water tight and may not contain any liquids. Hand crafted, pieces will slightly vary in colour, pattern, size, and weight.  Please note: The style is coded under one SKU but both short wide vessels with wide round top are similar in colour, pattern and features horse hair markings.  Note that we have limited stock and a style that is available will be chosen for you upon purchase.
