Sheridan College Graduate Show MAR 22 - APR 1, 2012
OPENING RECEPTION: Thursday March 22, 2012 6 - 8 pm
The 2012 graduates of Sheridan College’s ceramics program are creating work in a range of functionality from tableware to sculptural vessel forms. A spectrum of clays, glazes, temperatures and sizes is being explored. The group of students works to help each other showcase each person’s individuality, resulting in a collection of pieces representative of the group’s diversity.

The Gardiner Shop is pleased to present Shu-Chen Cheng’s contemporary Raku vessels. She is a full time ceramic artist, originally from Taiwan who now lives and works from her home and studio in Hamilton, Ontario. Her award winning Raku vessels are both wheel thrown and handbuilt from slab to create the most precise shapes. Her work has been collected by supporters from both Canada and abroad.
