Marla Benton

Marla Benton is originally from a small town in Conestogo, Ontario.  She attended the Ontario College of Art & Design, where she found clay her preferred medium.  Half way through her degree, she transferred to the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design, completing her degree with a major in ceramics.  A couple of years later, she earned her second degree from Nipissing University (BED).  After years of travel and moving, the east coast kept calling her back until she stayed, married and set up a home studio in Mahone Bay, on the south shore of Nova Scotia. She loves going to work every day!
