Description
Burlington, Ontario-based artist Celina Kang is inspired by nature, especially stone, sand, clay, and mineral forms. In this collection, Celina uses ceramics to replicate natural processes and formations. The clay is pressed, transformed, heated, weathered, and polished like metamorphic rock. Celina often stacks her pieces, playing with shapes sourced from nature to create her own architectural forms. – Celina Kang
