Description
My work has been inspired by nature, particularly stone, sand, clay, and mineral forms from the earth. I emphasize a variety of mineral textures and particles in simple forms and shapes. Often stacking and repeating shapes to replicate an act we do in nature with joy. I want my body of work to remind us of the meaningfulness, humbleness of coexisting with nature, and fun and joy that balance brings us as well. – Celina K Ferreira
Care & Use: Functional wares are glazed to hold water. Microwave and dishwasher safe. However, hand wash is recommended.
Material: Cone 6 stoneware with slip, glazes and particles from scratch.
