Description
Inspired by mother nature, Eekta hand builds and decorates each of her pieces. She employs a technique called Kurinuki, where she inserts a dowel into a block of clay to create a hollow base, which she then shapes into her vessels. Her practice relies on intuition: she lets the seeds of her ideas grow into the final forms in this way, often manifesting in organic patterns across the surface of her vessels.
