Description
Jolie Neeve is an emerging ceramic artist from Brantford, Ontario. She works primarily in low-fire maiolica, focusing on highly decorated, hand-painted and functional wear, and abstract and figurative sculpture. Her surfaces are painted with shapes, symbols, and narrative scenes that explore the alternate reality that she has created in her mind. This hypothetical universe is a haven for her. Her works are visual and tactile reminders of her childhood.
