Zara Gardner’s practice explores the intricate and fragile beauty of coral reef ecosystems and their inhabitants while addressing the influences and impacts of humankind on our marine environments. With a specific focus on the critical issues of plastic pollution and coral bleaching, her work strives to visually communicate, stimulate and provoke the conscience of consumers of single-use plastics.
