The Gardiner is thrilled to announce the launch of CLAY, an original in-house restaurant offering seasonal menus of fresh, local fare in collaboration with The Food Dudes. Coming Summer 2018!
This summer, join us for free art workshops and exhibits, live performances, talks, and more, as part of the third edition of the Community Arts Space project, the Gardiner's incubator for arts-based community projects presented by TD Bank Group.
Kids can explore their creativity with clay in our week-long summer camps. They'll learn hand building, wheel throwing, glazing, and more! Camps are selling out quickly so register now.
The Gardiner Museum is among the few museums in the world focused on ceramics, and is one of the most important specialty museums internationally. It houses approximately 4,000 objects, including European porcelain, ceramics from the Ancient Americas, Chinese porcelain, Japanese porcelain, and contemporary ceramics. The Gardiner kicked off the holiday season with a sold-out 12 Trees Gala, presented by Nordstrom. Patrons were treated to a vibrant evening filled with art, gourmet delicacies, entertainment, and more—all inspired by light, a symbol of hope that we can all share this holiday season.
We extend our deepest thanks to everyone who joined us, as well as to the many sponsors and supporters who helped make our most important fundraiser of the year such a success! This year’s Gala raised a record $120,000 in support of the Gardiner’s education and outreach programs.
Check out the Facebook album for photos from the Gala.
