Introduction to Hand Building

Learn the fundamentals of hand building with clay, from pinch pots to coiling and slab building. Spend the first three session creating your pieces, then glaze them in the final session. This class is designed for beginners to ceramics, but all skill levels are welcome.

Instructor
Taylor Chan Daley
Taylor Chan Daley is an emerging artist born and raised in London Ontario. Taylor discovered ceramics at a young age at BealART Secondary Art School, then went on to get her BFA at Sheridan College. Taylor currently resides in Toronto, instructing around the GTA. Her body of work is characterized by minimalism and extravagant function, with a focus on the surface of her pots.
