Unleash your inner artist and fashion a gorgeous necklace that’s uniquely yours. Choose from an extensive assortment of hand-crafted glass beads in a dazzling spectrum of colours, expertly designed by Gardiner Shop artist Alicia Niles. Design your perfect piece featuring anything from a single statement bead to a full string. Enjoy light refreshments and a cash bar in the Terrace Room while you shop.

How It Works:

Select the bead(s) and cord for your necklace. We’ll record your choices and provide you with the filled out order form. Take the form to the payment station while your necklace is being strung. After payment, bring the form with the receipt and we will package up your purchase.

The cost is based on the beads, leather, and extras you use to create your necklace.

Beads: $30 – $90 each
Cords: $17 – $20 each
Extras (such as tassels): $18 each
Earrings to pair with your necklace: $25 – $80 each

About the Artist:

Alicia Niles was born in Venezuela but calls Hamilton, Ontario home. She pursued her education and training at John Abbott College, Mount Allison University, the Ontario College of Art and Design, and George Brown College. In 2003 Alicia fell in love with glass and began taking classes at Sheridan College. In 2013 she opened Barton Street Studio in Hamilton. Her beautiful jewellery and glass vessels can be found in shops and galleries throughout North America. Alicia takes inspiration from the natural world, from her passion for gardening to her love of the sea.
