July 13 @ 9:00 am – July 17 @ 12:00 pm
Summer Camp: Clay with Food (Ages 9 – 12)
Monday July 13 – Friday July 17, 2026
9:00 am – 12:o0 pm
Create something that looks good enough to eat in this half-day camp! Campers will explore the connections between food and pottery in our galleries, discovering objects like an ancient vessel for drinking hot chocolate and a royal dessert table, and reimagine their favourite sweet and savoury treats in our pottery studio.
Guided by an experienced artist-educator, campers will practice hand building, sculpting, glazing, and painting sculptures made from clay, and other craft materials. They’ll also strengthen their observation, critical thinking, and communication skills through engaging activities, all while flexing their imagination in a fun and inclusive environment.
About Summer Camp
In our popular summer camps, kids and teens can embrace their creativity through clay and other art materials in our fully equipped pottery studios. They’ll learn new skills—hand building or wheel throwing, and various decorating and glazing techniques—in a engaging and supportive environment. Each camp is taught by our experienced artist-educators, who also guide campers through the galleries to get inspired by the fascinating objects on display.
Camp Schedule
Campers will have a 10-minute snack break every day.
