Summer Camp: The Nature of Clay (Ages 9 – 12)
Monday July 14 – Friday July 18, 2025
9:00 am – 12:o0 pm
Get creative with clay and the environment in this half-day camp! Campers will explore the galleries to discover images of nature, like a vessel depicting spring in Nunavut and a serving dish in the form of a hungry rabbit. Then they’ll use clay and other materials to make original artworks in the studio inspired by the world around them.
About Summer Camp
In our popular summer camps, kids and teens can embrace their creativity through clay and other art materials in our fully equipped pottery studios. They’ll learn new skills—hand-building or wheel-throwing, and various decorating and glazing techniques—in a fun and inclusive environment. Each camp is taught by our experienced artist educators, who also guide campers through the galleries to get inspired by the fascinating objects on display.
