Brenda Nieves’ work expresses images of the natural form in the medium of clay and glaze. Her sculptures are tangible objects that reflect her vision and style. She aims to mirror the power of the human spirit through representations of marine and mineralogical motifs, as well as messages of growth. Each new piece she makes “injects fuel” into her creative life. Her drive to create art full time reflects her desire to make life precious for both herself and those who engage in her work.
