Lisa Creskey: Large Bowl - Raccoons

Lisa’s captivating fine porcelain creations are inspired by nature and the history of time. She demonstrates storytelling through clay by examining the environment we inhabit and concerns for humanity. Hand building each piece, she applies underglazes and glazes which is then fired multiple times. As a result, each piece is one of a kind and will slightly vary in colour, pattern, size, and weight.

Care & Use: Decorative only. Handle the bowl by the base and with care.

About The Artist

Lisa Creskey

Lisa’s primary drive as a visual artist has been that of storytelling from a personal connection to the subject. Lisa studied Studio Art/Art History at Concordia University, and painting at Parsons School of Design in New York. In Spring 2017, Lisa was selected to exhibit in Craft Ontario ’17, the Biannual Juried Members Exhibition and was also awarded a Recommendation Prize in the Gyeonggi International Ceramic Biennial in South Korea with her piece "Reflection Through Time and Ice – HMS Terror."
