Suzanne Morrisette: Wet Pebble Pitcher

Description

Suzanne’s functional ware of ceramics play with the water theme. She forms each piece on the wheel and applies the scratch lines and/or brushstrokes onto the surface creating a dazzling ripple effect. Hand crafted each piece will slightly vary in colour, pattern, size, and weight. Made with a clear glaze that creates a finish that resembles the look of a wet pebble on the lakeshore.

Dr. Suzanne Morrissette (she/her) is an artist, curator, and scholar based in Toronto. She was born and raised in Winnipeg and is a citizen of the Manitoba Métis Federation. Suzanne's interests include family and community knowledge and practices of making that support and sustain life. She creates functional ceramic ware available at the Gardiner Shop and Craft Ontario.
