Zoë’s work is influenced by historical patterns, Victorian symbolism, tchotchke objects, and floral motifs. She hand-builds each piece and decorates with colourful illustrations using slips, glazes, underglazes and terra sigillata.

Zoë Pinnell

Originally from London, Ontario, Zoë Pinnell attended NSCAD University and Sheridan College. She received the Gardiner Museum Prize, Medalta Residency Award, and the Pottery Supply House Award. Her work consists of hand-built objects decorated with colourful glazes, slips, and illustrations. Zoë is influenced by historical patterns, Victorian symbolism, tchotchke objects, and floral motifs.
