The Gardiner Museum is among the few museums in the world focused on ceramics, and is one of the most important specialty museums internationally. Explore the world of planters, making pieces such as cacti planters, succulent logs, orchid pots, or herb planters. Create a planter inspired by a pop art image such as a Rubic’s cube or use your green thumb to make the ideal container to cultivate your favorite plants. Bring your own designs, or be inspired by images provided. Use terracotta with or without glaze, or use white clay painted with colourful glazes.
