The Rosalie Wise Sharp Collection of Blue and White
The Gardiner Museum presents a new, monumental installation: a floor-to-ceiling display of over 500 blue-and-white ceramics rhythmically arranged by shape, hue, and decoration. Assembled over decades and generously donated by Toronto collector Rosalie Wise Sharp, this extraordinary collection reflects a lifetime of passionate engagement with the medium of clay and its varied histories.

Announcing a New Commission by Artist Nadia Myre
As part of the Gardiner Museum’s transformation—a once-in-a-generation reimagining of our 9,000-square-foot ground floor—we’re also debuting a major new commission by acclaimed artist Nadia Myre. Her installation will be the first thing visitors encounter when entering the Museum, setting the tone for a renewed space centered on connection, creativity, and Indigeneity.

Introducing our new Gallery of Indigenous Ceramics
The full-scale reimagining of our ground floor features the construction of the Gardiner’s first-ever gallery of Indigenous ceramics. Designed by architect Chris Cornelius (Oneida) of studio:indigenous and curated by the Gardiner’s inaugural curator of Indigenous Ceramics, Franchesca Hebert-Spence (Anishinaabe Sagkeeng First Nation), the gallery will hold ceramic belongings and stories from time immemorial to the present day.
